Shake Shack is preparing to launch its third drive-thru restaurant in New Jersey.
Scheduled to open 11 a.m. Dec. 6 at 2010 Route 9 in Old Bridge, the popular burger chain’s new spot will offer dine-in, takeout and drive-thru, as well as pick-up and delivery options via the brand’s mobile app or website.
Known for its made-to-order hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and hot dogs – in addition to shakes and custard floats – the concept has grown to more than 510 locations nationally and internationally since its founding 20 years ago by restaurateur Danny Meyer.
To celebrate its arrival in Old Bridge, Shake Shack plans to give away custom tote bags to the first 100 guests.
In keeping with the company’s larger mission of giving back, Shake Shack said it will donate $1 from every burger or sandwich sold opening day to the Old Bridge Food Bank.
Within New Jersey, Shake Shack has 22 other restaurants. The chain opened its first drive-thru earlier this year in North Brunswick and followed it up a few months later with a location in Freehold.

At Regency Centers-owned Glenwood Green in Old Bridge, Shake Shack joins a lineup that includes Chipotle Mexican Grill, ShopRite, Target, Playa Bowls, Wawa, Paris Baguette, honeygrow and Duck Donuts.
Following its grand opening, Shake Shack in Old Bridge will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
