Duck Donuts adding 10th NJ shop

Duck Donuts is gearing up to launch its 10th shop in New Jersey.

Located at 2040 Route 9 in Old Bridge, the chain will hold its grand opening at 7 a.m. Aug. 3.

To celebrate its newest outpost in Middlesex County, will give the first guest in line a voucher for one free dozen doughnuts per month for a year. The next 50 people in line will receive a coupon for two dozen doughnuts and a bucket of coffee to be redeemed during a future visit.

Following its grand opening, Duck Donuts in Old Bridge will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Duck Donuts got its start in 2007 in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The brand launched to offer vacationers in the beach communities a place to enjoy delicious, made-to-order doughnuts.

Now headquartered in Mechanicsburg, Pa., the company began franchising in 2013. It currently has 145 locally owned and operated stores across 25 states, Puerto Rico and five countries.

In addition to fan favorite flavors like Cinnamon Bun, Maple Bacon, French Toast, Peanut Butter & Jelly and S’mores, Duck Donuts serves a variety of doughnut sandwiches, coffee, frozen beverages, sundaes and milkshakes.

Locally, Duck Donuts can be found in Avalon, Clark, East Brunswick, Green Brook, Middletown, Marlton, Paramus, Sea Isle and Whippany.

In Old Bridge, Duck Donuts joins the retail lineup at the new Glenwood Green shopping center. Other tenants at the Regency Centers-owned property include Target, ShopRite, Playa Bowls, Wawa, Paris Baguette and honeygrow.
