honeygrow, a eatery known for wholesome, made-to-order stir-fry, salads and honey-based desserts, is continuing to expand in New Jersey.

Planned openings this summer at Glenwood Green in Old Bridge and Chimney Rock Crossing in Bridgewater will bring the Philly-born chain’s Garden State footprint to eight restaurants.

Founded 12 years ago in Philadelphia, honeygrow offers a nutrition-forward menu of customizable meals and honeybars, which the chain describes as a sweet dessert made from fresh fruit and flavored honey.

Along with dishes for specific dietary plans – including paleo, keto, vegan and high protein – as well as catering services, honeybar has a kids’ menu of create-your-own stir-fry and salad options.

The chain has since grown to 41 locations across the Northeast. Within New Jersey, honeygrow can be found in Cherry Hill, Marlton, Hamilton, New Brunswick, Hoboken and Toms River.

At Regency Centers-owned Glenwood Green, honeygrow joins a lineup that includes an 80,000-square-foot ShopRite supermarket and 135,000-square-foot Target store. Wawa, Shake Shack, Duck Donuts, Paris Baguette, Chipotle and Panda Express are also coming soon to the Route 9 shopping center.

Tenants at Chimney Rock Crossing – another Regency Centers property – include Ulta Beauty, Nordstrom Rack and Saks Off 5th. honeygrow will take over space formerly occupied by Profile by Sanford.

Commenting on the chain’s strategic growth across New Jersey, honeygrow founder and CEO Justin Rosenberg said, “We’ve been a part of the N.J. community for nine years since our first location opened in Cherry Hill in 2015. I’m proud to continue to connect the dots between north and south throughout the state.”
