E! Entertainment founder and former chief executive officer Alan Mruvka is redefining the self-storage space, after reinventing the way people receive celebrity and pop culture news.
Mruvka has been growing StorageBlue, a consumer-centric self-storage company.
The company’s fifth and newest location just opened in Garfield to serve Bergen and Passaic counties. The $6 million project converted an old macaroni factory into a state-of-the-art, 60,000-square-foot self-storage facility with more than 650 units.
Located at 170 River Drive, the heated location features outdoor drive-up units, 24/7 surveillance, keypad access, lighting, free curbside pickup, auto pay, U-Haul truck rental, and more.
In alignment with StorageBlue’s mission of community involvement, the company plans to take part in town events in Hasbrouck Heights and Garfield, as well as participate in Toys for Tots with the United States Marine Corps Reserve and food drives at the end of the year.
“We are thrilled to continue bringing StorageBlue’s value to new communities and further fulfill our mission, making self-storage a painless and convenient experience,” said Mruvka.
StorageBlue serves the New Jersey/New York Metropolitan area with five self-storage center locations in Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, Newark and Garfield.
