Striker signs exclusive deal to lease and manage sizable new development in Newark

Luxury apartment firm Striker Apartment Leasing said Dec. 29 it exclusively has a new contract with Spring Street Commons at 2 Spring Street in Newark. The mixed-use development contains 84 residential units and three commercial spaces in one of Essex New Jersey’s most desirable districts.

Comprised of one and two-bedroom apartments, rent contracts range from $1750 to $3000 and become available January 2021. Amenities include a rooftop lounge, gated parking, electric car charging stations, and smart home functionality.

“Our team is already working on leasing 2 Spring Street, with the deal being struck only days ago–even during the holidays. Our crew works fast. This district is a sought-after location in Newark and a walkable neighborhood is what renters need,” says Michelle Streicher, the broker of record at the helm of Striker’s 4-division company.

Commercial units include three ground floor spaces sized at 1930, 1260, and 2035 square feet. With construction completed just days ago local business owners have a clean slate to creatively pivot into the next year with new plans whether they’re moving into a larger space or downsizing.
