The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity awarded the funds for the Princeton-based company to further develop its HemoDefend-BGA adsorber, which, in short, can create a substance that could be administered to anyone, regardless of blood type.

“These funds will support our global clinical trial program, as well as manufacturing capacity expansion at our new Princeton, New Jersey facility as we pursue FDA marketing approval of our technology in the United States, among other investments,” said Kathleen Bloch, chief financial officer.
