Bed Bath & Beyond says it is reviewing data breach
The Union-based big box retailer filed notice with the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission indicating a third party used a phishing scam to access a hard drive and certain shared drives of one of its employees.
SERV Behavioral Health System reports data breach
The Ewing Township company said it discovered suspicious activity in May and immediately took action to secure its systems in addition to launching an investigation. Although there was no evidence that information was accessed, the firm issued a notice “out of an abundance of caution.”
SFERRA reveals April data breach
The Edison-based linens company said there is no evidence of actual or attempted misuse as a result of the incident and added that it did not affect any of its e-commerce platforms or any information retained in e-commerce systems.

Cooper University Health Care reports data incident
The Camden provider said it learned of the unusual activity in December and immediately launched an investigation — assisted by independent cybersecurity experts — to determine what had happened, and whether personal or protected health information had been accessed or acquired without authorization.
Atalanta reports data security incident
The company said in a Dec. 8 statement that it "detected malicious activity on its network including the encryption of certain systems."
