With a goal to simplify, streamline and improve access to life-changing care, The Breast Center of New Jersey is launching over 30 locations across the state.

BCNJ comprises of a team of world-renowned specialists across prevention, diagnosis and treatment disciplines. The practice aims to provide treatment to individuals living with breast cancer and those in need of treatment for other breast-related conditions.

Within New Jersey, breast cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed. Additionally, it is the second leading cause of cancer death among women, according to the state Department of Health. Last year, more than 8,580 female residents received new diagnoses.

BCNJ seeks to connect patients to a seamless, integrated network of resources.

Dr. Anjeanette Brown, a fellowship-trained breast surgeon, stated, “We understand how overwhelming a diagnosis can be and we’re committed to alleviating confusion and stress for those currently navigating the healthcare landscape. Those living with a diagnosis should focus on healing, not triaging appointments.”

BCNJ’s experts utilize the most advanced diagnostic technologies to detect the presence of an abnormality with pinpoint accuracy. Available resources include: 3D mammography, breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), ultrasound and biopsy.

Following a diagnosis, BCNJ collaborates with each individual to provide a personalized treatment plan. Options span from genetic testing and surgical planning, including lumpectomies and nipple-sparing mastectomies, to breast reconstruction.

In addition, BCNJ offers specialized care for those suffering from post-mastectomy pain syndrome, chemo-induced neuropathy and lymphedema. Its team of nearly 40 breast, plastic and reconstructive surgeons have affiliations with The Premier Surgical Network, The Institute for Advanced Reconstruction and The Plastic Surgery Center.
