Hoboken-based GovPilot is launching free offerings to allow New Jersey governments to access its platform.
“Our core business is providing services to local governments to run their operations and different departments,” Chief Executive Officer and founder Michael Bonner said. “We provide cloud-based modules to help their day-to-day work. We provide digital modules that allow constituents to interact with the local government electronically by removing face-to-face interaction to allow for social distancing.
“It is just like Amazon. You order online and do not need to go into a store,” he added.
There are 10 modules that entail online registration for COVID-19 drive-through testing, receipt and expense tracking, volunteer registration, geographic information systems, and report a concern through an app.
Developed exclusively for local governments, Bonner explained he wanted to help New Jersey governments deal with COVID-19.
New Jersey customers include Camden, Bergen and Hudson counties, and the municipal governments of Elizabeth, Atlantic City and Trenton.
