A unique exterior design and distinctive architectural details are among the characteristics that define Phase 1 of Summit Court, a luxury apartment community located at 1776 Patriot Way in Union.
Designed by BartonPartners, the building’s “E”-shaped design is aesthetically appealing while contributing to its overall efficiency and resident comfort. Phase 2 of Summit Court will follow the same building plan.
“A typical residential building has four corners,” said Robert Cogan, principal of BartonPartners, a Norristown, Pa.-based multi-disciplinary design firm. “The unique E-shape of these two buildings results in 12 desirable corner apartment units per floor, each of which has windows on two sides. Occupants of these units benefit from ample natural light through two walls of glass, and—in many cases—unobstructed views of beautifully landscaped courtyards.”
Phase 1 of Summit Court, which is nearing full occupancy, boasts 130 one- and two-bedroom units with open-concept kitchens, in-home washer/dryer, walk-in closets, oversized showers with floor-to-ceiling tile, 9-foot ceilings, private balconies and wood-inspired plank flooring.
The community is in proximity to major highways, shopping and dining, New Jersey Transit’s Union train station and Kean University.
“From its unique architectural design and luxurious interior finishes to commuting convenience, Summit Court meets a broad array of consumer preferences,” said Nicholas Minoia, founder and principal of Montville-based DP Property Management LLC which manages and leases Summit Court; the company is an affiliate of Diversified Properties.
