Fresh off the opening of the new Valley Hospital in Paramus, Valley Health System launched another offering for residents in Bergen County and the surrounding area.
The network’s group practice is now welcoming patients to the new Valley Medical Group Kinderkamack Primary and Walk-In Care in Montvale, the provider announced May 7.
Located at 141 N. Kinderkamack Road, the center is the second such office in town. The other, Valley Medical Group – Primary & Walk-In Care, Montvale, is located at 85 Chestnut Ridge Road.
According to Valley Health, the new Kinderkamack Road office is convenient for residents in northern New Jersey and southern New York, where Valley’s former Nanuet, N.Y., center was located.
A Valley Health representative told NJBIZ that the entire staff from the Nanuet office has moved to the new Montvale location.
The new primary and walk-in care center offers services such as: minor trauma treatment, including stitches and X-rays; same-day appointments; swabbing for strep, RSV, COVID-19, and flu; vaccinations; contracted services such as drug screening, post-accident, first-responder and Department of Transportation physicals and workman’s compensation; and subspecialty care in the areas of cardiology, women’s services and pediatrics.
Dr. Peter Strassberg, one of the physicians at the center, described the new Montvale office as “spacious, spotless, and up-to-date in every aspect.”
Joining Strassberg at the new center are Drs. Neil Matalia, Frank Garigali and Perel Schneid.
The Kinderkamack center is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
