Vegan bakery of Shark Tank fame to open first NJ location

Vegan cinnamon roll bakery Cinnaholic, which was featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, will open its first New Jersey location on Friday.
The new Westfield location will join locations in California, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Maryland, Washington, Florida and Canada. It was recently featured on Entrepreneur magazine’s Franchise 500 list, and currently has 100 units in development across the country.
“There is a tremendous amount of excitement to serve our award-winning cinnamon rolls to the people of northern New Jersey,” said Vikas Mittal, the owner of the new Cinnaholic location in Westfield in a statement. “I’m eager to bring such a delicious and allergy-friendly dessert to my community.”
Mittal intends to open other Cinnaholics in the area.
Cinnaholic customers can choose from a variety of frosting flavors and toppings to create their own custom roll free of dairy, lactose, eggs, and cholesterol. On opening day, the bakery will offer rolls from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to $1.
