Walmart is unveiling two newly remodeled locations in New Jersey.
Following a series of renovations aimed at improving customer experience, the Bentonville, Ark.-based retail giant’s general merchandise store in Bridgeton and Supercenter in West Berlin are scheduled to hold grand re-opening celebrations Oct. 31.
Updated features at the locations include:
According to a spokesperson, the stores stayed open throughout the months-long renovation projects.
The remodels are part of an ongoing effort to enhance the overall shopping experience announced earlier this year at more than 650 of Walmart’s 4,600 stores across the U.S.
Walmart has since improved its outpost in Vineland. A project to convert East Windsor from a traditional format store into a Supercenter will be completed later this year, a spokesperson said.
The company has already invested $120 million to renovate stores throughout New Jersey over the past five years.
Along with unveiling flagship Supercenter designs in Secaucus, North Bergen and Teterboro, the retailer has updated sites in Vineland, Freehold, Kearny, Bayonne, East Brunswick, Burlington and Linden.
