Berkeley College appoints new director of corporate and community relations for NJ

announced Aug. 28 it appointed Lynn Stamatelatos as director of corporate and community relations for New Jersey, effective June 2024. 

Stamatelatos is responsible for overseeing Berkeley’s Corporate Learning Partnership program in the Garden State. This role includes strengthening relationships with businesses, local governments and nonprofits, as well as facilitating higher education and training initiatives for their teams. 

The Corporate Learning Partnership program offers discounted tuition and customized upskill training to employees. It enrolls more than 175 companies, according to the college. 

Additionally, Stamatelatos works with the college’s Career Services team and employers to help place students and alumni in internships and jobs. 

Stamatelatos said she looks forward to growing Berkeley’s corporate partnerships. She succeeds MaryAnn Chimento in the position, a Berkeley representative told NJBIZ. 

“This position highlights Berkeley College’s dedication to the community by launching programs that improve access to education,” Stamatelatos added. “I am enthusiastic about working with our partners on strong talent development initiatives, cultivating long-term relationships that promote mutual growth and achievement.”

Stamatelatos joined Berkeley College in 2012 as coordinator of special projects and has since served in various roles with Career Services, Alumni Relations and campus operations. 

She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ramapo College.
