Voting is now open for the second annual competition. Presented by Withum, the contest is powered by the New Jersey Business & Industry Association and the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program.

This year’s competition builds on a strong 2025 debut that drew nearly 40,000 votes. The Coolest Thing Made in New Jersey highlights the creativity, impact and craftsmanship of products manufactured across the Garden State.

In 2026, a total of 72 products advanced from the nomination phase into Round 1.

Voting is open through March 30. Participants can vote up to five times per day, per device. The top 16 vote-getters will advance.

The competition will narrow through multiple rounds in April. The winner announcement will come May 21 at the State of the State of Manufacturing event in Trenton.

Last year, Wayne-based Geared Power won the inaugural competition for its innovative BioGuard UVC mask.

“It is our honor to shine a spotlight on the products that inspire innovation, power our industries and help improve our everyday life here in New Jersey,” said Chief Executive Officer Peter Connolly.

“In seeking out the Coolest Thing Made in New Jersey, we are bringing well-deserved attention to the many companies and their creations that make the Garden State one of the greatest manufacturing states in the nation,” said President and CEO Michele Siekerka.
