The Delta Dental of New Jersey Foundation will award more than $761,000 in grants this year to organizations around the state, supporting more than 14,000 New Jerseyans.
The foundation, which is the philanthropic arm of Parsippany-headquartered Delta Dental of New Jersey, made the announcement Aug. 22 and said the funds will help provide dental care and education to thousands of uninsured and underinsured seniors, developmentally disabled adults and children, disadvantaged children and veterans.
Additionally, the donations will help fund scholarships for dental hygienists in county colleges as well as help dental assistant students in high school and a local county college.

The grant breakdowns and organizations receiving the grants are:
“Our mission at the Delta Dental New Jersey Foundation is to improve the oral health of New Jersey and Connecticut residents by funding projects that address the oral health care challenges our neighbors and communities face,” said Dennis Wilson, president and CEO of DDNJ and vice president of the foundation.
