During its annual meeting June 5, the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce board of directors elected Diane Wasser as treasurer. Wasser is partner-in-charge of New Jersey and managing partner of regions at EisnerAmper.
She brings more than 30 years of experience in public accounting to the role and has been a board member for four years. Additionally, she serves on the board’s Audit Committee.
Wasser established the EisnerAmper‘s Pension Services Group and has been instrumental in building the practice that now serves more than 450 clients annually. Wasser is primarily responsible for maintaining the firm’s culture and growth in the Garden State. She is a perennial honoree on NJBIZ Accounting Power 50 lists.
“It is an honor to be elected Board Treasurer,” said Wasser. “I look forward to working with Chamber staff and the other board officers in advancing the organization’s work of ensuring that New Jersey remains a desirable state to operate a business providing good-paying jobs to employees.”
In a press release, Chamber President and CEO Tom Bracken said the organization is fortunate to have Wasser as board treasurer. He noted how well-respected she is within the state’s accounting industry and business community.
“Her experience and expertise will significantly enhance the Chamber’s esteemed reputation in New Jersey as we seek to innovate and better serve our members,” said Bracken.
Wasser succeeds Walter Brasch, chief success officer at Prager Metis CPAs. Brasch will remain on the board’s executive committee.
