About him

Joseph Carnevale is a partner at Grassi and brings over 15 years of public accounting experience to the firm. He provides tax and assurance services for clients in various industries, with a specialization in closely held and family-owned businesses in real estate, manufacturing and distribution, and professional services.

Prior to the firm merging with Grassi, Carnevale was a director at Gramkow, Carnevale, Seifert, & Co., LLC (GCS) for 10 years. He began his career at one of the largest accounting firms in the country in 2008 before joining GCS.

Carnevale holds a CPA license in New Jersey and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. In 2015, he was recognized as one of the top “30 under 30” CPAs in the state of New Jersey through the New Jersey Society of CPAs.

Carnevale earned his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame. He is also significantly involved in his community, including holding the position of treasurer in the Oradell Chamber of Commerce.
