Ferrero taps its first D&I director

Ferrero North America has tapped Kamillah Knight as director of diversity and inclusion for North America.

Knight joins Ferrero from the role of diversity and inclusion lead at Unilever in Englewood Cliffs, where she developed inclusivity training for leaders to better manage diverse talent.

Knight will help shape Ferrero’s inclusivity strategy across the region and advance Ferrero’s global efforts on diversity in North America. She will report directly to Feng Ye, vice president of talent and diversity for Ferrero North America.

“Respect and responsibility are a cornerstone of our Ferrero corporate values and our commitment to foster a more diverse and inclusive organization is a business imperative,” said Paul Chibe, president and CEO of Ferrero North America in a prepared statement. “We’re moving forward on this journey to ensure that our business fully represents and reflects our consumers and society, and Kamillah will play an integral leadership role in helping further advance our progress.”

As a member of the chocolate giant‘s human resources team led by Senior Vice President of Human Resources Antonio Bog, Knight will help build and deploy diversity and inclusion strategies and programs to attract, cultivate and elevate diverse talent. Knight will also collaborate with business leaders on tools and resources to support practices and behaviors that encourage a diverse and inclusive workforce.
