Fitness Holdings LLC just got a little bit stronger. On April 19, the franchise group announced it acquired Moorestown, at 1349 Nixon Drive, and Crunch Somerset, located in the Rutgers Plaza at 960 Easton Ave.

Financial terms of the deals were not disclosed.

The 25,000-square-foot fitness facilities are owned by Mark Federico, who is also CEO of Fitness Holdings Northeast LLC. The acquisitions are part of Fitness Holdings’ plan to grow to 50 clubs in two years, the company said in its announcement. According to its LinkedIn page, Fitness Holdings, located in Greenwich, Conn., opened its first location in May 2013 in White Plains, N.Y., and now has more than 20 sites.

“The consistency of Crunch Moorestown and Somerset has been remarkable and a tribute to the Crunch Brand. These two clubs are great additions to our ever-growing portfolio and a testament to our groups ability to deliver on our strategic 50 club growth strategy,” Federico said in a statement.

Headquartered in New York City, Crunch serves more than 1.9 million members with over 400 gyms worldwide.
