An organization that aims to help people achieve their goal of owning a business through franchising has promoted one of its own to an executive role.
Franchise consulting and expansion company FranServe Inc. announced Jan. 24 that Jerry Rieder was named chief operating officer.
Rieder has been with the company for seven years, most recently serving as vice president of consultant development.
“Jerry’s compassion and desire to see our business and our people succeed is the driving factor behind everything he does,” FranServe Chief Executive Officer Alesia Visconti said in a prepared statement. “With 25+ years at Fortune 500 companies prior to joining the FranServe family, Jerry has honed a management style rooted in a foundation of cultivation, and I can’t imagine anyone better suited for this role.”
In the new position Rieder will manage and lead FranServe while executing strategies that are focused on growth, the Upper Saddle River-based company said. He will work with Visconti to manage day-to-day operations and to institute policies that continue to promote the vision and culture of the company.
