JLL tapped to manage Morristown’s Headquarters Plaza

Headquarters Plaza is comprised of 760,000 square feet located along Speedwell Avenue, just off the Morristown Green, in Morristown. And now JLL provides property management services at the office offering.

Owners Olnick Organization and Fisher Development enlisted JLL, that firm recently announced, to oversee the complex, which consists of three office buildings, a retail concourse, a recently renovated Hyatt Regency Hotel, and conference capabilities.

A 10-person management team will oversee operations at Headquarters Plaza for JLL, led by Christina Honthy and Scott Granat, to elevate building services and to improve relations with customers and tenants, alike.

Leasing remains active at the property, which has already added several new tenants this year. And JLL said ownership is looking into updating the entrances, interior lobby, cafeteria, parking garage structure and elevator vestibules at the complex.

“JLL is proud to have been selected to manage an asset as iconic as Headquarters Plaza,” said New Jersey Market Director and COO Terry Harris in a statement. “Our team is committed to elevating the tenant experience through technology solutions and space activation that serves to create a community within the Headquarters Plaza buildings.”

That community is rounded out by amenities including an AMC movie theater, a day care center, dry cleaners, Hand and Stone Massage, Hertz Rent-a-Car and a 40,000-square-foot Crunch Fitness Center. Food and drink options include SM23, Mehndi and Cullin’s Fresh Gourmet; and according to JLL, new agreements are in the works to add a sushi restaurant and tavern with anticipated spring 2023 openings.

Building upon that further, the eponymous plaza at the property recently saw an investment of $5 million from ownership, JLL said, for renovations that added planter beds, a stage and a large lawn framed on two sides by seating areas—setting the stage, literally, to host community concerts and events.

JLL said it will partner with ownership to improve tenant engagement and reenergize Headquarters Plaza’s retail concourse and common areas.
