Latent AI scales up in Princeton with HQ expansion

New Jersey-born Latent AI is doubling down on the Garden State with an expanded corporate .

The company, founded in 2019, delivers edge AI solutions that enable the rapid deployment of capabilities on any device. Its developer platform helps government agencies and commercial organizations implement efficient, secure AI solutions. More than 100 companies now employ ‘s Efficient Inference Platform.

The company has also gained significant momentum in the defense sector, including:

New home base

On June 18, Latent AI marked its next chapter in New Jersey with the opening of its expanded corporate headquarters in the S&P Global Building in Princeton.

Key things to know about the expansion:

  • Doubles its footprint to include a data center for edge AI testing and benchmarking
  • Added 23 employees at the Princeton location, with plans to add more than 20 additional engineers to support AI development.
    • Nearly all of Latent AI’s global workforce is employed in Princeton
  • Marked the grand opening by launching Latent Agent (an agentic AI coding agent for building edge AI applications)

‘Unrivaled’ talent pool

A variety of leaders, lawmakers and key stakeholders were on hand for the ribbon cutting.

“The decision to locate our company in New Jersey and make it our base of operations is intentional and strategic,” said Jags Kandasamy, Latent AI co-founder and CEO. “Attracting and retaining skilled employees continues to be an essential element of our success – and Princeton offers an unrivaled pool of talent.”

U.S. Rep. Bonnie Watson Coleman, D-12th District, described Latent AI’s growth as a Central Jersey success story.

“New Jersey is a hub of innovation and education with an infrastructure that gives companies building the future like Latent AI a reason to grow and create jobs in New Jersey,” said Watson Coleman.

South Brunswick Township Mayor Charles Carley noted that the Route 1 corridor has been an economic engine for the past five decades.

“Today’s announcement by Latent AI confirms that South Brunswick is an ideal location for economic vitality,” said Carley. “We congratulate Latent AI on their announcement today.”
