LG Electronics USA and Moomoo Technologies are the latest New Jersey-based companies to partner with Major League Baseball.
Under a multiyear agreement announced April 7, the Boston Red Sox named LG as its Official TV Partner.
The collaboration will center on using the Englewood Cliffs-based company’s commercial and consumer display technologies to enhance the fan experience at Fenway Park. It also includes a premier sponsorship package with the team as well as new LED signage. Additionally, it establishes a multiyear marketing platform for future LG product integrations, according to a press release.
The deal follows recent upgrades to the historic ballpark’s digital display network with LG DVLEDs – including the main videoboard in centerfield. ANC, a longtime Red Sox partner and venue technology company, brokered the deal.
Earlier this year, ANC and LG formed an alliance aimed at driving and innovation for North American sports and entertainment properties.
ANC president and CEO Jerry Cifarelli Jr. said, “Our deep-rooted relationship with Fenway Sports Group and our newly established partnership with LG Electronics made this a natural fit. Fenway Park has been a pioneer in integrating digital technology while maintaining its historic charm, and we are proud to facilitate this collaboration that enhances the in-game experience while creating significant marketing opportunities for LG.”
Boston Red Sox Chief Marketing and Partnerships Officer Troup Parkinson added, “The Boston Red Sox are thrilled to welcome LG Electronics as the Official TV Partner of the club. Through our valued partnership with ANC, we’re proud to bring an industry leader like LG into the Red Sox family. This collaboration will elevate the in-venue experience for our fans with cutting-edge technology while also expanding LG’s presence through dynamic activations that will engage Red Sox Nation all season long.”
Meanwhile, Jersey City-headquartered global investment and trading platform Moomoo unveiled a multiyear, multimillion-dollar sponsorship partnership with the New York Mets.
Announced April 3, the collaboration features permanent and rotational signage at CitiField in Queens, including the Moomoo bullpen. It will also bring various interactive games and promotions, like special “Moomoo Mondays” events, giveaways and meet-and-greets to fans.
To celebrate the partnership, Moomoo is offering cash prizes for customers based on the number of wins the Mets reach in the 2025 season. For every victory, Moomoo will contribute $10,000 to a special fund. The pool will accrue toward several milestones throughout the season, including:
To be eligible to win prizes, fans must download the Moomoo app and have an active brokerage account with Moomoo in the U.S.
Moomoo CEO Neil McDonald stated, “This partnership represents a great investment for moomoo, the Mets and Mets fans. Our platform allows everyone access to investments and information and being able to bring this opportunity to Mets fans while also expanding our brand presence is a win-win for all parties.”
He also shared, “We are very excited to partner with New York Mets, not only because I am a baseball fan, but also because we are committed to elevating the fan experience through various interactive games and promotions.”
Scott Havens, president of business operations for the Mets, echoed the enthusiasm.
“As more fans become financially savvy and explore online trading, this is a great opportunity to utilize a new, user-friendly platform while also receiving select benefits for upcoming Mets games. The grand prize throughout the season, as well as moomoo Mondays, will bring another exciting element for fans to experience at the ballpark this year,” he said.
Ferrero in Parsippany and Beard Club in Westwood are among the other local companies that recently announced MLB partnerships.
