Integra LifeSciences Holdings Corp. has named Lea Daniels Knight executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective June 28.
In a June 21 hiring announcement, the Princeton-based life sciences company said Daniels Knight brings more than 30 years’ experience to the role.
“Lea brings a wealth of finance, accounting, and extensive health care industry experience, and has the necessary capabilities to successfully partner with me and our executive leadership to lead change and drive growth and financial outcomes,” Integra President and CEO Jan De Witte said in a statement.
Daniels Knight joins Integra from Washington, D.C.-based Booz Allen Hamilton, where she served as executive vice president of business finance. Before Booz Allen Hamilton, she worked for New Brunswick-headquartered Johnson & Johnson for 18 years, taking on various finance roles across six of its operating companies, including CFO of the North America pharmaceuticals business. She started her career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP.
Saying she admires her new employer’s “purpose of restoring patients’ lives,” Daniels Knight added, “I look forward to leveraging my experience in finance, health care, global business services and operational organizations, and build on Integra’s leadership position in surgical, neurologic and regenerative care to create long-term value for our customers, patients and shareholders.”
Daniels Knight also serves on numerous industry boards, including the Jefferson Abington Hospital board of trustees in Abington, Pa. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Virginia and an MBA in finance and strategic management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She also is a certified public accountant licensed in Pennsylvania.
Founded in 1989, Integra focuses on developing technology that enables the body to regenerate damaged or diseased tissue, according to its website.
