Major indoor go-kart facility coming to Totowa

The world’s largest indoor karting operator, K1 Speed, is doubling down on the great Garden State.

On Dec. 17, the company announced construction of a new go-kart racing center in Totowa. Upon completion, the facility will establish the company’s second location in the state, following its New Jersey debut in Cinnaminson. K1 Speed also has plans to develop two additional centers here.

Features of the K1 Speed Totowa for racing enthusiasts and thrill-seekers include:

A renowned indoor karting experience, featuring state-of-the-art go-karts imported from Italy
Two indoor karting tracks with “thrilling elevation changes”
An extensive arcade
A viewing platform and a private event room
The Paddock Lounge café, which will offer a full menu, including beer and wine

“We’re thrilled to expand our footprint in the Northeast,” said founder and CEO David Danglard. “The demand for K1 Speed is high in our region, and we’re working hard to open our Totowa center – as well as the next two New Jersey locations.”
