The New York Giants are making a significant investment in their future. The NFL team announced plans July 27 to expand and modernize its East Rutherford headquarters as the franchise embarks on a new era under head coach John Harbaugh.
The project comes as the organization continues a sweeping overhaul following a brutal 2025 season and a string of disappointing campaigns. With a young core led by quarterback Jaxson Dart, the facility upgrades represent the latest effort by ownership to turn around the franchise’s fortunes and position the club for long-term success.
The expansion of the Quest Diagnostics Training Center will include approximately 93,500 square feet of new construction and 46,000 square feet of renovations. The updates will create a football-focused headquarters designed to enhance player performance, preparation and recovery. Construction is expected to wrap before the start of the 2028 season.
“This is a significant investment in the future of our football operation,” said Giants President and CEO John Mara. “We believe it is our responsibility to provide our players, coaches, and staff with the resources and environment they need to succeed. As the game continues to evolve, we must continue to evolve with it. This project reflects our commitment to our people and to building a foundation that will support the New York Giants for years to come.”

The plans call for a dramatic transformation of the team’s headquarters, including:
The renovated facility will also feature expanded recovery and wellness amenities, such as hydrotherapy, steam and sauna rooms, red light therapy, cryotherapy, dry float tanks and hyperbaric chambers. Additionally, it will have modernized player and team spaces designed to support preparation throughout the week.
The announcement follows the completion this spring of a renovation and expansion of the team’s cafeteria. That investment also aimed to improve the daily experience for players and staff. It marks another change taking shape following Harbaugh’s hiring.

Jonathan Tisch, the Giants’ treasurer, said the design intends to honor the franchise’s history while embracing the future of player development and performance.
“From the outset, our goal was to create a space that reflects who we are as an organization while pushing forward into what’s next,” said Tisch. “Every design decision was made with purpose — from how players move through the building to how a team connects and collaborates. This is about creating an environment that feels distinctly Giants and gives our players and staff everything they need to succeed.”
The Giants said the Quest Diagnostics Training Center will remain the hub of its football and business operations throughout construction. According to the organization, the expansion reinforces its belief that sustained success is built through continued investment in its people, processes and infrastructure.
