Kimberly Redmond//May 18, 2023

New Jersey continues to see more cannabis dispensaries setting up shop, with the latest openings occurring this week.

Silverleaf Dispensary, a medical dispensary located at 1743 Route 27 in Somerset, began welcoming customers May 16 and is offering a 25% storewide discount during its first week.

Open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Silverleaf provides a range of medical cannabis products, including flower, edibles, concentrates, pre-rolls, tinctures and topicals, to patients with qualifying medical conditions.

A women and pharmacist-owned dispensary, Silverleaf’s goal is to expand affordable access to properly vetted and quality-driven cannabis products to patients who need it the most.

SilverLeaf President Nirmit Patel said, “We are committed to providing the highest quality products and services to our patients. As a medical cannabis dispensary, we take our responsibility to our patients very seriously.”

In South Jersey, Nova Farms – the Northeast’s largest privately owned, vertically integrated cannabis operator – is set to open an adult-use dispensary May 19 in Woodbury.

Located at 642 Mantua Pike, the new store will not only be Nova Farms’ New Jersey flagship, but also the state’s first non-conversion, exclusively recreational adult-use dispensary.

Attleboro, Mass.,-headquartered Nova Farms currently operates four dispensaries, two outdoor cultivations and one indoor grow facility across its New England footprint. It also manufactures and processes cannabis products and will soon do so in New Jersey, according to the company.

As a leading cannabis retailer and manufacturer, Nova Farms offers various award-winning brands, including Southie Adams, Hashables, Zzzonked Sleepy Gummies, Sticky Fish and Rezzy, and is committed to its wholesale partners.

Blair Fish, chief operating officer of Nova Farms, said, “Our mission is to bring the highest quality brands and consumer packaged goods to cannabis enthusiasts in the Northeast. While other companies are chasing licenses in various states nationwide, Nova has honed its geographical focus, allowing our brands to resonate with multiple states where we can connect the dots within our geographical nexus.”

“New Jersey is a great example of this and we are excited to show the New Jersey market what Nova Farms is all about,” he said.

Nova Farms in Woodbury, which is located on a property formerly occupied by Arby’s, will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, offering quick turnaround service and ample parking.
