NJBIZ named nine companies and one individual as winners of the 2023 Business of the Year awards during a Dec. 14 ceremony at The DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset. 

Launched in 2006, the program recognizes the state’s most dynamic companies and business leaders who share a commitment to professional excellence, business growth and the community. 

Finalists were selected by an independent panel of judges comprised of previous program honorees in the following categories: Business of the Year (1-50 employees; 51-100 employees; and 101+ employees), Corporate Citizen of the Year, Emerging Business of the Year; Nonprofit of the Year (1-100 employees and 101+ employees) and – new for 2023 – Family Business of the Year (1-100 employees and 101+ employees).  

Additionally, NJBIZ honored the Executive of the Year, Ira Robbins, CEO and chairman of Valley National Bank.
