DoorDash is adding several popular retailers to its delivery platform in New Jersey just in time for the back-to-school shopping season.

The on-demand service recently welcomed:

• Bookseller Barnes & Noble
• Kids’ apparel seller Carter’s
• Department store chain Kohl’s
• Clothing and accessories brand Gap
• Discount brand Gap Factory

With over a half million products eligible for delivery in under an hour across categories like clothes, books, household, baby and kids, DoorDash bills itself as a “go-to destination for everyday essentials.”

During the first quarter of 2026, the company said it brought fast third-party convenience delivery within reach for over 60% of the U.S. population. DoorDash added it fulfilled “tens of millions of grocery and retail deliveries across more than 22,000 ZIP codes” with a median delivery time of 30 minutes or less.

DoorDash Vice President of Enterprise Partnerships Mike Goldblatt shared, “Back-to-school is one of those seasons where there’s just no time to plan every trip. As a dad, I know how this goes. It’s the sports uniform you realize is missing the night before practice, or the notebook nobody remembers until they’re already out the door.”

He went on to say the latest additions to DoorDash will help ensure “parents can get what they need in minutes instead of making another stop.”

Goldblatt added, “For our retail partners, it means getting in front of consumers exactly when they need them most.”

The newly announced launches also include limited-time offers, including:

• 20% off orders of $100 and up at Gap up to $25 off
• 20% off orders of $75 and up at Gap Factory up to $20 off
• 25% off orders of $50 and up at Kohl’s up to $25 off
• 25% off orders of $40 and up at Carter’s up to $15 off

According to DoorDash, the promotions run:

• Kohl’s: Aug. 7–Sept. 7
• Carters: Aug. 17–24
• All others: Aug. 17–23
