Wegmans Food Markets and CVS Pharmacy are the latest merchants teaming up with DoorDash to offer customers SNAP/EBT payments capabilities.
In a Feb. 2 press release, the on-demand delivery platform said Supplementary Nutrition Assistance Program-eligible consumers can now order fresh and affordable groceries from its two newest partners.

Within New Jersey, CVS’ footprint of 340-plus stores makes it the largest pharmacy chain in the state by number of locations.
Since launching support for SNAP/EBT payments in 2023, the network of stores accepting the payment form on DoorDash has grown to over 50,000 businesses – including Walgreens, Aldi, BJ’s Wholesale Club and Wakefern Food Corp. supermarket banners such as ShopRite and The Fresh Grocer.
According to DoorDash, nearly 3 million consumers use their benefits to purchase fresh groceries and pantry essentials via the app. The platform also noted that 94% of U.S. households receiving federal food assistance aid now have access to at least one participating store in its network.
A recent report from DoorDash found that SNAP-eligible consumers believe using the platform enables them to improve how they shop, eat and live.
