As Mid-Atlantic regional director of HBK Cannabis Solutions, Udell leads a team of specialists focused on the business challenges of cannabis companies. Also a principal at the Cherry Hill office, Udell – who has over 25 years of experience – has been involved in various accounting-related aspects of the cannabis industry since 2014, providing a wide range of services in multiple states, including monitoring balance sheets, P&L statements, cash flow and KPIs.
She’s also helped cannabusiness clients before obtaining their licenses, buyers and sellers of cannabis ventures and those involved in litigation. In addition, Udell has made a name for herself on the national, regional and local circuits as a speaker on various business valuation, litigation-related and cannabis industry-specific topics, as well as becoming a published author of numerous articles.
Udell also co-authored The Cannabis Industry Accounting and Appraisal Guide (July 2018) and the primary author of Cannabis: A Budding Opportunity, Valuation Strategies (March 2016).
