Relief Mental Health, headquartered in Oak Brook, Ill., opened its second New Jersey location – and its 10th overall.
The new clinic in Red Bank, located at 211 Broad St., Suite 207, follows the May 2021 opening of the health care provider’s Warren site.
Founded in 2020, Relief Mental Health is an outpatient provider of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), psychedelics, psychiatric medication management and talk therapy for the treatment of depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety and other mental health diagnoses.

At its Red Bank location, Relief offers patients TMS, which a 20-minute procedure approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration indicated for the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and/or major depressive disorder.
“As we all know, the pandemic took a huge toll on Americans and created a mental health epidemic. We’ve seen a rise in depression, stress, anxiety and major behavioral issues, and there are more and more people seeking psychiatric care,” Relief co-founder and CEO Susan Mueller said in a statement.
According to the provider, 1 in 5 U.S. experience mental illness each year. According to the World Health Organization, in the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, anxiety and depression increased globally by 25%.
“We are honored to be able to open in Red Bank and provide innovative treatment to more New Jerseyans so they can find much needed relief from their emotional pain,” Mueller added.
Relief said it also provides medication management, individual and family counseling and can usually see patients within a week of their first call.
