Role model: “My father. He is a businessman, a philanthropist and a pillar of his community. He taught me, and continues to teach me, to aim high and commit 100 percent, and that people can accomplish extraordinary things if they don’t put limits around themselves.”

What change would make workplaces friendlier to work-life balance? “Measuring employees by productivity rather than face time in the office.”

What do you wish someone had told you when you were first starting out in business? “You can’t please everyone all the time, and at the end of the day, you need to face only yourself in the mirror. Do your personal or professional best, and then let the chips fall where they may.”
