Raritan Valley Community College in Branchburg and Ramapo College of New Jersey in Mahway entered into an agreement that will allow RVCC graduates to transfer into Ramapo’s Anisfield School of Business.
Students who receive an associate of science degree from RVCC can seamlessly transfer to Ramapo College, provided they fill certain requirements including the requisite grade point average, according to an Aug. 26 announcement from the colleges.
The application fee will be waived for students transferring from RVCC.

“The new agreement with Ramapo College will give Raritan Valley Community College graduates the opportunity to continue their higher education close to home and focus their business studies in such areas as accounting, economics, finance, international business, information technology management, management, and marketing. In addition, RVCC students interested in transferring to Ramapo will benefit by having a staff member from Ramapo’s Center for Student Success available for student advisement on the RVCC campus,” said RVCC President Michael McDonough in a prepared statement.
The Anisfield School of Business offers an accredited business education and a strong grounding in the liberal arts, according to the transfer agreement announcement. ASB is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business – International.
In addition to its undergraduate programs, the Anisfield School offers two graduate programs: a 4+1 MBA and a 4+1 M.S. in Accounting.
“Ramapo College and the Anisfield School of Business are very excited to establish this relationship with RVCC, and we are committed to working closely with RVCC students as they advance their education and develop as scholars and professionals,” said Anisfield School of Business Dean Ed Petkus, Jr.
