All of the companyÂs U.S. pharmaceutical operations employees will be located at the new site.Sanofi-Aventis (NYSE: SNY), the worldÂs third largest pharmaceutical company, today announced it will move its U.S. headquarters to a former AT&T campus with 670,000 sq. ft. in Bridgewater. NJBIZ was the first to report Sanofi-AventisÂs plans in the newspaperÂs Real Estate Quarterly of September 12, 2005.
The three-building, 150-acre complex at 55 Corporate Drive is owned by a joint venture between The Gale Co., a developer based in Florham Park; S. L. Green Realty Corp. of New York City; and a client of Principal Real Estate Investors of Des Moines, Iowa. Bob Donnelly and Gil Medina of Cushman & WakefieldÂs New Jersey office advised Sanofi-Aventis in the transaction. Bruce Schonbraun of The Schonbraun McCann Group also advised the owners of the campus.
Sanofi-Aventis currently has its state offices at three locations in Bridgewater: Bridgewater Crossings, Somerset Corporate Center and the Science & Medical Affairs (S&MA) Campus. After the relocation, all of the companyÂs U.S. pharmaceutical operations employees will be located at the new site. The companyÂs existing office locations will house an expanded sales training center, its Northeast regional sales offices and employees overseeing global operations. R&D activities will be housed at Bridgewater Crossings and the S&MA campus.
