ShopRite is expanding the variety of free items available through its annual spring holiday rewards program.

In addition to offering its traditional free ham or turkey to Price Plus cardholders who spend $400 between March 1 and April 4, the supermarket chain is adding desserts and appetizers as options.

According to Keasbey-based Wakefern Food Corp. subsidiary, the refreshed promotion now includes:

• Häagen-Dazs Vanilla Ice Cream, 64 oz. Frozen
• Bowl & Basket Potstickers, 32 oz. Frozen
• Di Bruno Bros. Artisan Cheese Trio Tray Appetizer
• Stouffer’s Mac & Cheese Party Size, 76 oz. Frozen
• Farmer’s Market Gourmet 9-inch Pies Fresh Bake
• Taylor Farms Fresh Cut Veggie Tray, 40 oz. Produce

The products join existing free holiday favorites such as fresh smoked ham, frozen turkeys, Tofurky plant-based roast and whole pork. Qualified shoppers can also earn discounts on spiral sliced smoked ham, boneless smoked ham and Butterball brand turkey.

Customers can track their points digitally through their Price Plus club account and redeem free or discount products in-store by April 4. ShopRite will offer extended redemptions through April 11 for Passover on items like Empire kosher turkey breast, Empire kosher rotating chicken and Empire frozen kosher turkey.

More flexibility for families to celebrate

This year, Easter Sunday arrives April 5. Passover begins at sunset April 1 and ends at nightfall April 9.

Wakefern Chief Sales Officer Darren Caudill said, “The new Spring Holiday Rewards program reflects our commitment to giving our loyal customers more flexibility and more of what they love.”

“By expanding our value reward options, we’re making it even easier for families to celebrate in the way that works best for them,” he said.

The additional options come as ShopRite continues to double down on value offerings for customers.

In January, the banner expanded its price lock program to help give shoppers more opportunities to save money on items they buy the most. According to ShopRite, featured products span multiple departments in stores and online, including produce, bakery, seafood, meat, dairy and frozen foods.

Throughout 2026, Shop Rite said its new locked-in price cycles will align with other key shopping moments as well as complement weekly promotions.

ShopRite’s footprint of 300-plus supermarkets spans New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Delaware and Maryland.
