Organic and natural grocery chain Sprouts Farmers Market is preparing to unveil its sixth New Jersey store.

Located at 280 Egg Harbor Road in Sewell, the Phoenix-based grocer’s new 23,000-square-foot outpost is set to open Sept. 11. Sprouts said it will reveal additional details about grand-opening festivities closer to the launch date.

Founded in 2002, the supermarket chain offers a wide selection of natural and organic foods. Products at Sprouts include fresh produce, meat, poultry, seafood, baked goods, vitamins, household items, body care, dairy items and packaged groceries.

The grocer’s footprint of more than 480 stores spans 25 states. Within New Jersey, it has locations in Marlton, Aberdeen, Haddonfield Township, Woodbury and Woodbridge.

A store is also slated to open Aug. 21 at East Windsor Village shopping center in East Windsor. A hiring event to fill 83 jobs for the location is planned July 21–22 at Hyatt Place Princeton.

Additionally, Sprouts plans to open as the anchor of the recently redeveloped Bey Lea Plaza in Toms River.

In Sewell, Sprouts built its new store next to the Harbor Place shopping center. The 35,000-square-foot plaza’s tenants include TD Bank, Post Net, Rita’s Water Ice and Dollar Tree.

Ahead of the official opening, Sprouts aims to fill 91 full- and part-time positions.

According to the company, jobs are available in a range of areas, such as:

• Clerks (deli, grocery, meat/seafood, bakery, vitamins and body care)
• Department managers
• Assistant department managers
• Cashiers
• Receivers
• Administrative coordinators
• Scan coordinators

Along with competitive pay and team member discounts, Sprouts says it offers numerous opportunities for career advancement.

In addition to applying online, interested candidates may visit a job fair at DoubleTree Cherry Hill Philadelphia in Cherry Hill.

Events will take place from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 14 and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 15. No interviews will be scheduled between noon and 1 p.m., according to Sprouts.
