Ahead of the October launch of its fifth store in New Jersey, organic and natural grocery chain Sprouts Farmers Market is continuing with hiring efforts.

Altogether, the Phoenix-based grocer aims to fill 107 full- and part-time positions for its new 23,000-square-foot outpost in Woodbridge.

According to the company, jobs are available in a range of areas, such as:

• Department managers
• Department clerks
• Cashiers
• Courtesy clerks
• Receivers
• Coordinators

Founded in 2002, Sprouts offers a wide selection of natural and organic foods. Products include fresh produce, meat, poultry, seafood, baked goods, vitamins, household items, body care, dairy items and packaged groceries.

The grocer’s footprint of more than 460 stores spans 24 states. Since opening its first New Jersey site six years ago in Marlton, Sprouts has added stores in Aberdeen, Haddonfield Township and West Deptford.

A sixth in-state location is scheduled to open by the end of 2026 in East Windsor, Sprouts recently confirmed.

Sprouting up

In Woodbridge, Sprouts will anchor the newly constructed Cloverleaf Retail Center on Saint Georges Avenue. It joins a tenant mix that includes Paris Baguette, Hummus Republic, Club Pilates, honeygrow, LaserAway, Alpha Fit Club and Habit Burger & Grill.

Sprouts is scheduled to open Oct. 3 following a 6:45 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The first 200 shoppers on Friday and Saturday will receive a free reusable tote bag filled with special products and samples, according to Sprouts.

As part of the festivities, the store will host a variety of activities Oct. 3–5. Promotions include scavenger hunts, contests, free samples, and giveaways. Shoppers can score 20% off purchases by joining Sprouts’ rewards program. Additionally, those who spend $50 or more during the week of Oct. 6–12 will be able to take $50 off their grocery haul during the following week.

Following the grand opening, Sprouts will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
