Fairleigh Dickinson University is teaming with Edcor Data Services LLC to expand access to FDU degree programs.

Under an agreement unveiled Aug. 26, eligible employees of participating companies with the leading education benefit administrator will receive significant tuition discounts on select undergraduate and graduate degree programs at FDU.

According to the university, the collaboration aims to help working professionals advance education while balancing career and personal commitments. It also reflects a commitment to adult learners and toward collaboration to strengthen workforce development.

The Edcor agreement includes discounted tuition for several FDU programs:

Rowan’s 30-credit MBA

Rowan University William G. Rohrer College of Business is expanding options to offer flexible, high-quality graduate business education in New Jersey.

The school will launch a new 30-credit Master of Business Administration pathway this fall.

According to the South Jersey university, the program complements Rowan’s established 36-credit MBA. The higher education institution also noted it feeds growing demand for programs students can complete efficiently that maintain career relevance.

Students in the 30-credt MBA track completed the same 18-credit MBA as students in the expanded program, Rowan noted. The new pathway also includes one 9-credit concentration along with a three-credit graduate business elective. The same faculty teach all Rowan MBA pathways. Courses serve full-time students and working professionals.

Jennifer Maden, assistant dean for graduate studies and director of the MBA program, touched on motivations behind the launch. “We can now help students choose an MBA structure based on what they want the degree to accomplish rather than assume that one structure is right for everyone,” Maden said.

Added Matthew Sarkees, dean, Rowan University William G. Rohrer College of Business, “Graduate business education should not simply prepare professionals for the careers of today. It should empower them to shape the careers and opportunities of tomorrow.”

It was not immediately clear how many individuals the new partnership could extend to.

The school notes the above courses aim to equip professionals with practical leadership, management and analytical skills for immediate application in a modern workplace.
