Spirit Airlines resumes Atlantic City–Myrtle Beach flights

Spirit announced Feb. 19 it will resume a seasonal route between Atlantic City International Airport and Myrtle Beach International Airport (MYR).

The route runs during the spring and summer. It will restart April 15, offering five flights weekly.

Andrea Lusso, vice president of network planning for , said Myrtle Beach is one of the most popular destinations for travelers flying from Atlantic City. “And we’re excited to offer our guests an easy, affordable way to get there,” said Lusso.

Spirit noted the returning route complements its existing service at ACY. The airline offers daily nonstop flights to Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Fort Myers (RSW), Orlando (MCO), Tampa (TPA), and West Palm Beach (PBI).

“As the largest and longest-serving carrier at for more than 30 years, we look forward to continuing to provide our ACY guests with convenient travel options to their favorite destinations,” said Lusso.

“We’re pleased to welcome Spirit Airlines back for seasonal service to Myrtle Beach, building on their long-standing presence at ACY and service to the South Jersey region,” said Executive Director Stephen Dougherty told NJBIZ.
