Wawa is gearing up to open five new convenience stores in New Jersey.
Though the Pennsylvania-headquartered gas and food chain has not yet announced when the locations will be up and running, a note on its website says the grand openings are slated for spring 2023.

Wawa’s footprint of nearly 1,000 c-stores throughout the Northeast includes over 260 locations in New Jersey.
By 2030, the company plans to open another 1,800 locations as part of a nationwide expansion effort, Wawa Chief Executive Officer Chris Gheysens said during an interview last year with the Philadelphia Business Journal.
