The New York Cosmos announced a partnership May 11 with St. Joseph’s Health in Paterson. The health system will serve as the club’s official hospital and physical therapy partner for the 2026 season.

Under the agreement, St. Joseph’s Health will provide athletic training and medical services for the Cosmos. The collaboration includes on-site support during training sessions and matchdays.

The partnership also features branding opportunities. St. Joseph’s will feature on in-stadium signage at Hinchliffe Stadium and as a sleeve partner on all Cosmos home and away kits during the 2026 season.

“This partnership is about aligning with an organization that shares our commitment to excellence and community,” said Baye Adofo-Wilson, majority owner and managing partner of the New York Cosmos. “St. Joseph’s Health plays a vital role in the community and region and together we are building a foundation that supports our players while strengthening our connection to the people we represent.”

The organizations also plan to collaborate on community initiatives, including Cosmos player appearances at St. Joseph’s Health facilities and visits to the Children’s Hospital.

Founded in 1867, the healthcare system operates hospitals, outpatient facilities and physician practices throughout North Jersey and is one of the state’s largest health care providers and employers.

Riccio added, “This partnership reflects a shared commitment to the community we serve.”
