Summit Health, which recently unveiled a new look, also announced a new team and new office that will provide patients with urological care.
The Berkeley Heights-based health care provider announced Oct. 4 that it integrated the Urology Group of Princeton, located at 134 Stanhope St., into its system. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The site is a 5,175-square-foot facility and includes three urologists, nine exam rooms and three procedure rooms.
Dr. Jack Cappitelli, chief medical officer, New Jersey Region at Summit Health, said the new office “further expands our connected care model” focused on serving patients in the Tri-State area.
“We believe health care remains a local phenomenon, and we need to make sure we remain focused on delivering quality care, locally, on every corner and neighborhood,” Cappitelli added.
He also said Summit Health will continue to explore further acquisitions to “help fill our clinical, geographic, or operational gaps.”
The health care provider announced partnerships with Westmed Medical Group and New Jersey Urology in January.
