Ahead of the start of the 2025-26 school year, Tanger Outlets Atlantic City wants to help provide teachers with the tools necessary to create an engaging classroom for students.
As part of the annual TangerKids Grants Program, local educators and leaders can request funding so they can enhance programs and better serve students.
This year, the chain said it plans to earmark “a significant portion” of total grants for underserved schools, accessibility programs and student needs at public and private schools from pre-K through grade 12.
Interested educators can submit applications here through Oct. 18.
The popular mall will also once again ask shoppers to help choose local grant winners, during a voting period that runs from Dec. 2–15. Award recipients will be announced Jan. 30, 2026, the company said.
Tanger’s portfolio includes more than three dozen upscale open-air outlet centers in the U.S. The operator has contributed more than $3.7 million to school-focused initiatives over the past 29 years in the communities it serves, according to a press release.
In 2024, Tanger awarded over $190,000 to fund more than 160 grants to schools and programs nationwide. According to the company, 60% of those resources went to supporting inclusive classroom environments for underserved schools.
