As part of a continued commitment to support education in the local community, Tanger Outlets Atlantic City recently awarded grants to help fund projects at two South Jersey school districts.

As part of the 2023 TangerKids Grants Program, the outlet mall will donate a total of $3,300 to Egg Harbor Township High School and Brigantine Community Schools.

In Egg Harbor, the resources will provide an additional music production station that will enable students to express their musical talents through innovative technology. At Brigantine, the support will bring more robotics and technology to students in kindergarten through 8th grade.

Tanger Outlets Atlantic City Marketing Director Kevin Saldana said, “Supporting educational opportunities for local students is a key priority for us each year. These grants were requested directly by Atlantic City area teachers for meaningful projects that enhance learning environments and contribute to students’ success both in and out of the classroom.”

Tanger – whose portfolio includes more than three dozen upscale open-air outlet centers in the U.S. – has contributed more than $3.3 million to school-focused initiatives over the past 28 years in the communities it serves.

In 2022, Tanger awarded nearly $160,000 to fund more than 140 grants to schools and programs nationwide, supporting equipment upgrades, inclusion initiatives and more.
