Target is opening its newest store in New Jersey.

Located at Eatontown Plaza (56 Route 36) in Eatontown, the 60,000-square-foot space will be ‘s 51st store in the Garden State and fourth to feature the big box retailer’s small-format concept.

Following a July 16 grand opening, the new store will be open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, offering an assortment of Target’s owned and national brands, spanning food and beverage, kids, home, essentials, as well as Ulta Beauty, CVS Pharmacy and Starbucks. It will also have mobile order pick-up, drive-up and same-day delivery through Shipt.

The arrival of Target – which is taking over space that formerly housed a Chinese restaurant, liquor store and Babies R Us – completes a revamp of the Monmouth County shopping center. Other tenants at Eatontown Plaza include consumer electronics retailer Best Buy and discount fashion seller TJ Maxx.

In a statement, Daniela Sylvester, store director of the Eatontown location, said, “We’re excited to bring the joy of Target to new guests and help them discover a unique shopping experience tailored to the needs of the Eatontown community.”

Within New Jersey, Target also has small formats in Closter, Parsippany-Troy Hills and Haddon Township.

Initially launched in 2014, the concept is described by Target as a “flexible design” that allows the company to “bring the best of the Bullseye into urban neighborhoods, near colleges and other areas where a full-size Target wouldn’t fit, we can serve up easy and inspiring shopping experiences for new guests across the country.”
