T&M Associates has appointed Adanma Akujieze as chief financial officer. She joins the Middletown-based engineering and technical services firm as it continues positioning itself for long-term growth following its recent 60th anniversary milestone and new strategic planning efforts.

Akujieze brings more than 20 years of finance leadership experience spanning strategic planning, financial analytics, enterprise transformation, risk management and compliance. In her new role, she will oversee the firm’s finance department and serve as a strategic business partner to T&M’s executive leadership team.

As NJBIZ recently reported, T&M Associates has been expanding nationally while preparing its next long-term strategic plan focused on infrastructure demand, innovation and workforce development.

The firm now employs more than 375 professionals across five core markets. T&M increasingly has emphasized technology, artificial intelligence and sustainable growth as it looks toward its next phase of expansion under Dahms’ leadership.

In 2019, T&M named Violet Koehler as CFO, the first woman to fill the role. She left the company in 2024, according to her LinkedIn profile. A T&M representative told NJBIZ the position was open prior to Akujieze’s appointment.
