Verizon formed a new organization for its value and prepaid brands called Verizon Value, the communications giant announced Nov. 15.

The company, whose operational headquarters are in Basking Ridge, also appointed Angie Klein to the new role of senior vice president and president of Verizon Value within its Consumer Group division, effective Jan. 1, 2023.

Klein, currently chief revenue officer of TracFone and Verizon Prepaid and CEO of Visible, will report to Executive Vice President and Group CEO of Verizon Consumer Group Manon Brouillette.

In her new role, Klein will be responsible for bringing a holistic approach across the company’s value and prepaid brands — Verizon Prepaid, Visible and TracFone, which include StraightTalk, Safelink and Total by Verizon.

“This is the next step in the evolution of our strategy to better serve 23 million subscribers within the value market,” Brouillette said in a statement.

She added that the new organization “will accelerate our efforts to drive efficiencies while enabling us to invest in the growth brands that more closely meet our diverse customers’ needs.”

According to her LinkedIn profile, Klein has been with Verizon for more than 20 years. In addition to her current role overseeing Visible, an all-digital wireless carrier owned by Verizon, her positions with the company have included senior vice president of consumer segment marketing, among other leadership assignments. Her background spans product development and brand strategy to call center and retail operations, as well as customer experience design.

“This evolution further positions us to win in a complex and continuously changing market with customer-centric products and an agile mindset,” Klein said about her new organization.

Klein earned a bachelor’s degrees in marketing and advertising from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, according to LinkedIn.
