Walmart celebrates revamp of Teterboro Supercenter

Walmart Inc. is giving shoppers their first look at its newly remodeled Supercenter in Teterboro.
After undergoing improvements across several departments, Walmart’s location at 1 Teterboro Landing Drive now features:
- A reconfigured store layout that provides better access to popular areas such as baby food, pets and paper products
- New, associate-operated register lanes to streamline checkout for customers
- Refreshed interiors and exteriors, including paint and signage for easier navigation through the stores
As part of the Jan. 13 grand reopening festivities, Walmart recognized its employees, as well as offered product samplings from select vendors such as Goya, Pepsi, Red Bull and Coca-Cola, the company said in a press release.
The store will also give $1,500 in grants to local charities, including The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Open Door Community Center, Bloom Empowerment, Hasbrouck Heights Fire Department, Moonachie Police Department, and Oasis: A Haven for Women and Children.
“We’re thrilled to offer our customers an enhanced and upgraded shopping experience that will help them save time and money,” said Rezarta Mucka, Walmart store manager in Teterboro. “These remodels highlight our commitment to the community we serve and I’m proud of our associates for their work taking care of customers through this remodel.”
